Well this is about a dear friend who joined my school in 5th grade.I was an average student but she was exceptionally good.She would not back out of anything, and I guess some of her smarts & guts rubbed off on me. Soon she became the apple of the eye of many teachers.She had a designer hand writing; very different, wont call it beautiful. She became a part of my family and I a part of hers.She was the one who motivated me to sat YES to my husband when he as a 16 yr old started making eyes at the 13 yr old me. I was in 8th grade then.
One day ,she shocked me by telling me that her father had been transferred to another city and that she needed to move with him. That broke my heart. It felt as if the salt of my life had been taken away.However life goes on. Thanks to technology we managed to keep in touch.Can't recall when we lost touch and how.Then again the fairy called Technology brought us back together again.
Recently my parents stayed with her in Philli. They were very proud of her achievements and praised her to the high heavens. Well she deserves this & more . For being a wonderful human being besides being very very bright. Hey babe, u rock!
